PPS Card is an abbreviation for Priority Pass Select (PPS) Airport Lounge Membership Card. Since I applied for the VENTURE X card this year, which comes with a PPS card, I applied for one in July. It can be sent directly to China, but it's sent by regular mail. Surprisingly, it only arrived today.

Previously, CCB's DaShan White card also offered a PPS membership, but it required the physical card to be used. The advantage of the PPS card that comes with the C1 VX is that you don't need to worry about whether the physical card has been received; you can find the digital card directly in the PPS app and use it. This also means that you don't have to worry about delays or issues with the physical card being sent via regular mail when renewing the card in the future.

However, many of the PPS cards offered nowadays no longer include dining benefits, and the one that comes with the C1 VX is no exception.

The current policy should be: unlimited visits within the validity period, the ability to apply for supplementary cards (the first four are free), and the option to bring two guests.

Other popular U.S. credit cards that offer PPS membership, commonly held by Chinese users, include the Amex Platinum series, Amex Marriott Brilliant, Amex Hilton Aspire, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Chase Ritz-Carlton.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any of these... All of the above cards have annual fees of $450 or more, while the C1 VX has an annual fee of only $395.

P.S. I didn't end up getting the Elite White card, but receiving this PPS card suddenly made me feel even more justified in canceling the DaShan White card (after all, PPS now has a replacement).
