I've recently noticed that WeChat has started to pass merchant names to overseas institutions.
w, names like Uniqlo, Cudy Coffee, and Didi are visible
whereas a few days ago, everything was uniformly labeled as "WeChat."
This change is indeed welcome, as it makes things more user-friendly for banks.
However, this update has also introduced some quirky translations.
Topping my list for the most "earthy" translation so far is none other than “BOOKS ALSO BURN IMMO”!
Yes, you read that correctly... This is meant to translate to "Books Also Grass Jelly"!
