Last week, I applied for both USBANK (Chinese name: 合众银行) and CAPITALONE's premium card VENTURE X.

Yesterday, I received 4 letters from USBANK, one of which was the card, and then successfully completed the online banking registration. With this, I finally have another American bank account besides CAPITALONE (simply don't like it), HSBC (the only option for many), and AMEX (which is inadequate). At least I don't have to be at the mercy of HSBC US anymore.

Then, this had already made me very happy.

Later on, I received the approval email for the CAPITALONE (which Chinese people like to call C1) premium card VENTURE X.

The credit limit is pretty good. I heard it's a metal card with an annual fee of $450, which can reimburse $300 in travel expenses each year, and offers 10,000 bonus points.

So, the annual fee can essentially be offset.

Happy~ I won't apply for new accounts or cards for now, just nurturing my credit and waiting to get out of the 5/24 rule before getting a CHASE card.
